How do I attached a file?
Add the syntax Attach:FILENAME.PDF to the page. After saving changes, a link will appear in the page allowing you to upload the file.
How do I link to an uploaded file?
Add a link to the attachment, for example [[Attach:myfile.pdf|Display text]] will create a link displayed as Display text to the file myfile.pdf.
How do I insert an uploaded image?
Simply reference the attachment, for example [[Attach:image.jpg]] will display the image file image.jpg in the body of the page.
How do I add a footnote?
Enter the content of the footnote enclosed in [^ ^], for example [^footnote text^] will create a footnote which says 'footnote text'. The footnotes are automatically generated in the footer of the page.
How do I caption an image?
Insert the image using the Attach: command. To add a caption, enter the pipe symbol immediately after the image name followed by the caption. For example: Attach:image.jpg|This is my picture. See this page for more information.
What short links are available?
There are several shortcodes which can be used to link to the family tree. The available links are:
TreePerson:xxx Links to the person page in the family tree, and displays person number xxx. Note that the letter I is not required in the person number.
TreeSource:xxx Links to the source page in the family tree, and displays source number xxx. Note that the letter S is not required in the source number.
